Dear friends of the gallery,
The sixth edition of the Art Basel Miami Beach will take place from 6 - 9 December. Since the beginning, our gallery has been participating and we are pleased to give you some general information on the artworks displayed this year.
Our stand number is C 2 and the phone number where you can reach us during the fair is +1 646 785 2606.
We will show works by the following artists: Rita Ackermann, Michael Bauer, Zilla Leutenegger, Jorge Macchi, Teresa Margolles, Fabian Marti, Adrian Paci, Melanie Smith, Javier Téllez, Andro Wekua, Artur Žmijewski.
The opening hours are:
Wednesday, December 5 : First Choice: 12-2 pm // Preview: 2-5 pm // Opening: 5-8 pm
Thursday, December 6 – Saturday, December 8: 12-8 pm
Sunday, December 9: 12-6 pm
A limited number of invitations for the opening are available through the gallery. Please contact Claudia Friedli (c.friedli@peterkilchmann.com) to get a free invitation.
For this edition we will feature young swiss artist Fabian Marti with a selection of photographs. Then we show latest paintings and first time sculpture works by Michael Bauer. From the swiss video artist Zilla Leutenegger, we have her new video installation “Goodbye” and a series of drawings at the booth. By Teresa Margolles we will be showing a selection of jewellery works which refer to drug related crimes. On display at our booth there are small series and single paintings of Melanie Smith titled “Perifery View”.
Besides, we will show singular new artworks by Rita Ackermann, Jorge Macchi, Andro Wekua, Javier Téllez and video work by Artur Žmijewski.
In a special video program, there will be the opportunity to look at works of a number of artists of the gallery.
