Andriu Deplazes presents a new multi-panel painting that continues his interest in large-scale figurative compositions. The work shows a group of figures gathered around a fire in a mountain landscape, framed by stylized alpine peaks and skies. The fire becomes the central element in the composition, suggesting a space for shared experience, signaling, or transformation.
In the background, darker figures on foot reference themes of movement, border, and distance. This work builds on earlier projects such as Gipfelmännchen, Gipfelbuch (2025) and Alpenglühn (2023), extending the artist’s visual language across a broader format.
