Ishita Chakraborty (*1989) is an artist and poet from West bengal. She lives and works between Switzerland and India. Working across various media such as drawing, installation, poetry and sound, she focuses on migration and related topics, including identity, the traumas of colonialism, and displacement. These themes are explored within the context of contemporary globalization, the climate crisis, and the exploitation of the Global South. Her work has been featrued in numerous exhibitions in Switzerland and abroad.
